We get calls every so often about photo opts, shooting videos, and my favorite–foreign delegations wanting a farm tour if I can send them some of our business information. Most don’t amount to much.
Then we got a call from a writer wanting to learn more about how we started and the whats and whys of our farm. ACRES magazine is a great resource for those starting out and those wanting to make a change to a more sustainable way of farming. Being asked to be a part of this publication is a huge honor for us and we hope you enjoy it.

Awesome! How about writing a book, in your spare time, about sustainable farming? You really do write beautifully.

Books are a big undertaking! You and Uncle Pete should come out and visit. You could do some plein air painting of the farm and animals.

What a great article about you guys and your farming operation.
Very informative except the writer should have explained the acronyms better.
Good on the AMD (American Milking Devons).
Maybe I missed it, but not so good on explaining non-GMO grain (Non-Genetically Modified) and CAFOs (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations).
I know in a farming publication most readers know that stuff, but not everyone is a farmer. Love you both.

I’m so glad you two got this recognition in a magazine! Proud of you both. ?
And I love that photo of the piglet sleeping on the momma. ?
